Problem Statement
Creating a seamless, inclusive, and user-friendly app for exploring sexual preferences is crucial to addressing the common challenge of awkward conversations about intimate desires. Users seek a platform that offers a comfortable, flexible, and free method for discovering diverse sexual desires without the need for explicit communication with their partners. The goal is to create a platform that empowers users to navigate through these preferences effortlessly, encouraging open exploration and enhancing sexual freedom within a safe and non-judgmental digital space.

UX Research
I conducted comprehensive UX research, including colour research with WCAG contrast checks, competitor analysis, heuristic evaluations, and statistical research. Additionally, I gathered insights from survey results, developed a value proposition canvas, created wireframes, and analysed heat maps. This research, which I led, provided valuable insights that directly informed the design of the app's UI.
Additional research included creating mind maps, mood boards, studying Durex branding, sketching, and exploring inclusive and relevant illustrations to inspire my own designs.
Result
By the end of the project, I delivered a fully functional Figma prototype, a complete set of illustrations and icons, an advertisement/campaign video, and comprehensive UX research. The video and assets were submitted to the D&AD New Blood Awards and also included in my final year submission at Norwich University of the Arts.
